Somos is a modern Australian winery founded in McLaren Vale by an Australian–Mexican winemaking duo. Committed to biodynamic farming and minimal-intervention winemaking, they focus on Mediterranean varieties such as Verdelho and Aglianico, crafting vibrant, pure, and boundary-pushing natural wines that challenge convention while expressing the unique character of the region.
This wine is crafted using a Lo-Fi, minimal-intervention approach. The grapes are sourced from sustainably or organically farmed vineyards and fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts. No new oak is used, and winemaking intervention is kept to an absolute minimum. With only a very small addition of sulfur before bottling, the wine beautifully preserves the grapes' vibrant freshness, juicy fruit character, and pure, unadulterated expression.
