1. This product is not ready-to-eat; it must be thoroughly cooked before consumption.
2. After removing tempeh from the freezer, let it thaw at room temperature. If the tempeh crumbles when cutting, it may not be fully thawed. Please allow an additional 5-10 minutes (10-15 minutes in summer, 20-25 minutes in winter).
3. Tempeh has a mild flavor. For a richer bean aroma, pan-fry it until golden brown before adding it to dishes to enhance the flavor.
4. Tempeh is a high-protein food and can spoil easily at room temperature. It must be kept frozen.

*The black spots on chickpea tempeh are sporangia, a natural sign of tempeh maturation. It is safe to consume!*
