|Return and Exchange According to Current Legal Regulations|

The Department of Consumer Protection, Executive Yuan, drafted the Regulations on Reasonable Matters as Exceptions to Rescind the Distance Sales, which shall come into force on January 1, 2016. In the future, in cases such as perishable goods, customized items made according to consumer requests, opened audiovisual products, or opened personal hygiene products, when the trader informs the consumer that the 7-day right of rescission is excluded, the provisions of such right prescribed in Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as the Act) will no longer apply. Key points of the Regulations on Reasonable Matters as Exceptions to Rescind the Distance Sales are as follows:

 


I. Article 2 of the Regulations: “Reasonable matters” as exceptions referred in Paragraph 1, Article 19 of the Act shall mean that the 7-day right to rescind the distance sales is not applicable under the circumstances where the goods or services are provided or rendered with one of the following matters; provided, the traders have made notice to consumers:

1. The supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate, with fairly short shelf life, or expire rapidly at the time to rescind the contract.

2. The supply of goods or services made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

3. The supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines.

4. The supply of sealed audio, video recording or computer software which have been unsealed after delivery.

5. The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, or online services which would be fully performed once begun, with the consumer’s prior consent.

6. The supply of sealed personal hygiene products which have been unsealed after delivery.

 


|Cooling-off Period|

1. As food items are considered personal consumable products, and for hygiene reasons, in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 2 of the Regulations on Reasonable Matters as Exceptions to Rescind the Distance Sales issued by the competent authority: Products "which are liable to deteriorate, with fairly short shelf life, or expire rapidly at the time to rescind the contract" fall under the reasonable exceptions as defined in Paragraph 1, Article 19 of the Act, and do not enjoy a 7-day cooling-off period. This includes homemade baked goods, gluten-free bread, frozen food packets, and similar items purchased at mise en Plants.

2. All products in the store undergo strict quality control. Please consume them before the expiration date. To maintain the hygiene and safety of the food, returns or exchanges will not be accepted unless the food product itself is defective. If a product has been unsealed, consumed, or if the consumer has caused damage such as deformation of the outer packaging, exposure to improper temperatures, or inadequate storage leading to spoilage, it is not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Photos are taken and stored as records before the products are shipped. To protect the interests of both parties, please open and inspect the items immediately upon receipt. If there are any issues, please contact customer service immediately. Products eligible for the 7-day cooling-off period will not be accepted for return or exchange if no immediate response is received within seven days.

4. If a product is damaged during the shipping process, please report it directly to the delivery personnel. Be sure to take photos as evidence to protect your rights. Contact us immediately, and we will respond as soon as possible during business hours.

5. Products on the website may appear slightly different in color due to the use of different screen brands and resolutions. Please consider the actual product color as the primary reference, as variations may occur in the presentation of colors in the product images.

 


**If you have a return request, please contact customer service within 7 days of receiving the product. Provide details such as your name, order number, contact number, name of product for return, and reason for return with photos. If the product is eligible for a 7-day cooling-off period, customer service will assist you with the return or exchange process upon receiving this information.**
